If you’re having trouble installing software updates because you’re on an older Mac OS, there’s still hope.
Even if you are still using Leopard (OS 10.5), there is still a way to get your Mac upgraded to the newest Mac OS.
You need to be able to get to the App Store, and for that you need at least Snow Leopard, which is OS 10.6. If you don’t have Snow Leopard, you can still order it from Apple’s online store. It’s $20.
Then, after you have Snow Leopard installed, you can go to the App Store and purchase Mountain Lion, and then you’ll be all caught up, for not a huge investment. You should probably do it quickly, however, as you never know when Apple will discontinue Snow Leopard.
Of course, if you run into any trouble, Austin MacWorks can help!
