You may not know this, but you can fill the dock with more than just applications and folders. The dock can also hold web pages stored as bookmarks. This allows you to have quick access to your favorite sites. To do this, using Safari, find the web page you would like to store.
Notice the icon that displays to the left of the URL.
Click and drag that icon to your dock—to the part of the dock below or to the right of the separator line. Now that icon becomes an easily accessible bookmark. With a single click, you can access your favorite webpages right from your dock. To add more bookmarks to your dock, just repeat the step. Each bookmark will show the name of each site when it is hovered over.
